| LINCOLN SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE AWARDS | These scholarships are for Lincoln resident seniors only. These need-based scholarships are awarded after all other financial awards and options have been explored. The Lincoln Scholarship Committee also offers the Sumner Smith Community Service Scholarship and the Fanny S. Campbell Academic Scholarship, the Ogden Codman Trust Scholarship and Codman Opportunity Scholarship. The Committee also accepts nominations for the Rosemary Nadolski Award. | SUDBURY CONSTITUTION RACE SCHOLARSHIP | One Scholarship will be awarded to a deserving Lincoln-Sudbury High School Student who submits a winning essay. To help celebrate Constitution Day, on September 17, 2011, the 5k Constitution Challenge Race was held at the Wayside Inn, Sudbury, MA. Proceeds from the race made this scholarship possible. | Essay: "The Importance of the Constitution" should be the title and it should be an original type-written essay, with a suggested length of a minimum of 3 double-spaced type-written pages, and font no greater than 12. Source and reference material for the essay must be cited with either footnotes or endnotes. Although we place importance on the questions listed on the second page of the LSRHS scholarship application, such as student activities and community service, we also require the following criteria in the essay: 1. Clarity of presentation 2. The essayist’s basic knowledge of the Constitution.
