About the L-S Scholarship Fund

Lincoln-Sudbury Scholarship Fund

  • The Fund was established in 1976 as a foundation created to provide scholarships to eligible graduating seniors of Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.
  • As a local chapter of Scholarship America and New England Dollars for Scholars , the L-S Scholarship Fund provides an application process for students to use in applying for its own and other local scholarships available in Lincoln and Sudbury.
  • Scholarships are funded either by the Scholarship Fund endowment or by families and organizations and administered by the Fund. The amounts generally range from $500-$12,000 and more than half are funded over four years.
  • The Selection Committee determines scholarship recipients based on the following criteria: 40% academics; 40% financial need; and 20% service / work / athletics.
  • Certain awards funded by donors may have specific qualification criteria, such as a focus on education, health sciences, or music.
